Power cut has
become rampant in everywhere. In order to defeat such unwanted power
interruptions, power inverter is one of the best alternative. Basically, Power inverter is an electronic device that converts electricity from
battery to mains i.e DC to AC. Power inverters are applicable
almost all electronic equipments like laptops,
DVD players etc at the time of power cut. Power inverters are of two types. One
is Modified sine wave inverter model and another one is pure sine wave inverter model.
The concept of
grid tied system refers to a residential electricity generating system being
connected to the utility grid for one or more purposes. Grid
tied systems are commonly designed to pass any excess and consume electricity
from at times when your generator doesn't produce sufficient electricity. The mechanism behind the grid tie power
inverter is that it doesn’t require any special boxes to connect to the
mains rather only requires to be plugged into wall socket. These are quite safe
for the users and when the power fails the grid tie automatically disconnects.
There are two types of grid tied systems
that are commonly installed. One is system with battery backup, and the other
one is without battery back-up. The basic components of a standard grid
inter-tie are the main generator, power outputs, the inverter, the disconnect
switch, charge controller and a battery bank if the system is assembled with
battery backup. A pure sine wave inverter is essential for this purpose.
